I chose Edwin after I put out a multiple vendor bid for a steam humidifier job because he seemed very communicative and understanding of the nuances of whole house humidifier output.

He hooked me up with a really good AprilAire 800 steam humidifier and an ionization unit that has essentially transformed my experience of winter away from constantly chasing 30% humidity by refilling gross portables to finally feeling comfortable and achieving an easy 40-50%, even when it's very cold out.

The job took quite a while because it involved re-routing the water supply and moving things around, and they even cleaned up some of the work the builder did by sealing a few things better. He was fair and flexible in pricing and payment and very thorough in explaining as much as I wanted to know about how things work.

He and his team not only communicate well but they have a diverse skill set, he even came back and did a garage door insulation job for me. Most of all he just seems like a friendly, down to earth person and I enjoy supporting competent smaller businesses like his, when I can. I'll be calling him for check ups and future heating related needs.

Can't recommend Edwin and his crew highly enough. He is extremely prompt, professional, and very responsive. I only found him by sheer luck. I read that having a bi-annual maintenance contract would be good for an aging HVAC unit. I messaged near 10 companies on Yelp - they either did not offer such a service, charged (astronomically) by the visit, or charged (astronomically) for an annual contract. Edwin said two visits, one year, $200. Done and done. I guess companies don't wish to do basic service contracts? Who knows.

By the end of the contract, my HVAC was probably in need of replacement. Edwin was straight up with the info, no salesmen bs. "Your unit has biological growth that has grown significantly since last year, the compressor is now pulling above max amperage overheating your breakers". There was no upsale bs, any of that. Just here are my options, winter discount, cash discount. The prices were very good. Not only that, he was very straight up about the brands too (something the salesmen from other companies won't admit to). Amana = Goodman, don't pay for Amana, same company, luxury brand. Lennox is just a pain in the neck to deal with. Trane is not as good as it once was. Carrier is just the name. He could install all those brands, but Goodman offers the best prices and interoperability with parts and thermostats.

The install went great. Was an all day affair - took about 8 hours or so. 3 man crew all over it. Disposed of the old unit, installed new refrigerant line, followed all the codes, wifi thermostat. The works.

Unlike the sales men who "justify" their super high price with a 2 year labor contract, Edwin offers 1 year with an ability to get a 2nd year if desired.

Recently our heat stopped working and my immediate thought was to contact Edwin at EM2 because he did such a great job with our home in Manassas. Edwin was very flexible in scheduling the appointment, arrived on time and was very patient in describing the issue. The best part was that he had the part in his work truck and was able to fix it right away. Again, he was very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. He is very knowledgeable and I trust what he tells me. Highly recommend Edwin and his team at EM2 Heating & Air Conditioning!

My husband called this company in to look at our AC unit that went out. We had already had one guy come and say that there was nothing he could do to fix it and that we would need to buy a new HVAC system! We have a 16 month old so we were desperate to get our AC working (since it's summer!), but also didn't want to spend $$$ to get a new one. Thankfully this guy came out, was super knowledgeable and spotted the problem and fixed it for an AMAZING price! He also quoted us a price to fix the whole unit for half of what the first guy quoted. He was professional, very friendly and knew what he was talking about! I will be recommending this company to everyone!!!

My AC went out in June as the temperatures were rising. We have a small child in the house who certainly wasn't going to sleep with the house above 80 degrees. We sent for a few people to come give us estimates to replace our system as it's over 20 years old. Edwin was the second of companies to come out. Not only did he give us the best estimate (by farrr) but he also decided to fix the current issue completely for the cost of what others quoted for the diagnostic alone. He also found the issue that others had not been able to find. And, he did so in about 15 minutes. He didn't stop there though. He gave us the option to have a few things repaired that were faulty at a price I still cannot believe. If you want a smart guy, with great pricing, and trustworthy character this is the place to call.

Edwin was outstanding! Really reasonable, understands what needs to be done, provides recommendations and has a great personality.

EM2 saved us over a hot Memorial Day weekend! They came out within 12 hours of my quote inquiry through yelp and completed two service calls with two techs to get our AC up and running within a few hours. Price was very reasonable- they did not take advantage of it being a holiday to raise the price and did their best to get our AC on quickly. A+++ for customer service!!

EM2 did a great job at my house. Edwin is a nice tech with great knowledge of the HVAC industry. They replaced my whole system, very efficient and well detailed install. My AC died and EM2 had a great turnaround with a new system the next day and good deal with a good warranty. No need to look further for another company cause we have our systems in EM2 hands!

Edwin responded very promptly, notified us he was on his way when he finished the previous job and went out of his way to come out the same day . He was very polite, professional, competent and reasonably priced. I was very impressed and would absolutely recommend .

HVAC systems have a way of wearing out when you least expect it and mine is no different. We asked for EM2 Heating and air conditioning team to assist and they did a great job. They arrive at 5 PM on Monday and worked all the way till 10 PM to get the cooling system up and running. They came back the next day and got the heat up running as well. They helped register the unit and also pulled the A/C permit as required by Fairfax County. Thanks Edwin, Felix and Gurpreet for providing such excellent service.

Great experience with Edwin! I explain my problem to him. He came immediately. He walked through everything step-by-step with me to troubleshoot the issues. He explained the diagnostics. He worked with me on the pricing. He talked to me about the upkeep of the units. All in all I am very pleased with the service! Edwin was absolutely phenomenal!! Our A/C went out last weekend. We contacted him on Saturday, and he was here in an hour and a half! It was 95 degrees outside, and we are so thankful. He was kind, thorough, professional, and on time. Who knew that this kind of home emergency could actually be a good experience? Edwin went above and beyond for us. He even had the part we needed on hand so the entire job was completed in 30 minutes! Talk about being able to get on with your day! Not to mention that his prices can't be beat

Long story short, we will never use another HVAC company again. I would highly recommend EM2 Heating and Air to everyone who needs work done. I will definitely utilize his service for all my future HVAC needs.We are so grateful to have this reliable service in our back pocket should this happen again.

I had a issue with my heater and fire place. They showed up the same day, fixed the fireplace and diagnosed the problem with the heater. They returned the next day with the part and had it fixed in no time. Super knowledgeable and courteous! I highly recommend them and will certainly call them for any heating or cooling issues in the future!
